This model fits exactly in the location of our previous refrigerator, plus it's Energy Star compliant, and designed for the garage...seems perfect for what we need! It's been running for the past week without any issues, although we did have to adjust the cooling of the refrigerator a bit (freezer was fine). This is also our second version: the first delivery had a bent hinge, so the door wouldn't stay closed.

Built to handle Kitchen, Basement, Porch or Garage

We've only had this Fridge for a month now, but love the amount of space inside, and the arrangement of the Shelves and Drawers is nice as well. It's built to handle extreme temperatures of being put in a Basement, Porch, Sunroom or Garage, etc., but is also beautiful enough for inside a small Kitchen as well. We purchased it as a second fridge, and to tied us over when our Kitchen Side-by-side fridge went out. This fridge fit everything we wanted to keep from our old Side-by-side (28cu ft) fridge, even though this is only a 19+cu ft fridge. Lots of space! It easily tied us over in our back Sunroom (winter) while we waited for deliver of a new Side-by-side to put back in out Kitchen (and availability of fridges is not good during this Pandemic). Very happy we now have two nice fridges - one in the Kitchen and this one in our Sunroom.

We bought this sight unseen to replace a fridge with the same outer dimensions. It has wy more space than I expected internally and is well organized. Plus the freezer space is significantly larger. We use this in our garage, which gets very cold during the winter. This has the features built in to regulate the internal temperatures properly--normally that's an add-on. Very happy with this purchase.

Rattled when plugged in. Repairman had to fix.

Repairman installed five zip ties in freezer to stop the fan from knocking. Not sure if a screw was missing or it needs to be fixed with engineering. Drove my Tennant nuts for a week. She also misses a light in the freezer. Fine frig otherwise. Nice shelf adjustability.

Good Replacement

We purchased this refrigerator as a replacement for a 30 year old refrigerator. The new refrigerator has a larger freezer, which is good, but to get items out of the refrigerator you need to bend over more. However, the new layout of door and refrigerator shelves is not as good. The door shelves are wider to accommodate a gallon size milk or water container. This means that the interior shelves of the refrigerator are narrower. The bottom door shelf is positioned just above the door gasket. It will hold very short bottles but access to the shelf is difficult because the next shelf up is wider. These two shelves cannot be switched with each other because the wider door shelf would hit the crispers if you try to close the door. After installation, the refrigerator took about 5 hours to reach correct cooling temperature. During this cooling period, the refrigerator was louder than normal operation of the old refrigerator. During normal operation, it is slightly louder than the old one. The freezer and refrigerator have glass shelves. The door shelves have solid bottoms. Both features make cleaning easier. An ice maker is not included, but is an option. If you are old school, there isn't an ice container. Also, it does not include an egg tray.

Though it is the same size compartments seem larger. We had to change the door to open from the right and that puts the holding section for milk towards the inside away from the opening. The freezer bottom of the seems lower & deeper. It's where I keep my ice trays and it just seems easier to place them after I fill them. Also the outside is smooth, shinny black. I like most aspects of this refrigerator except for one. When we close the refrigerator door, the freezer door pops open -- sometimes all the way if we're not there to stop it. I had GE out today to correct this defect and learned that it's a characteristic of the refrigerator that can't be fixed. I've lost one freezer full of food already. This is not good.

Here in North Carolina the summers can get very hot but the winter season is very mild compared to where I grew up in New York. It is currently the end of July and I have thermometers in the bottom fridge and top freezer and the temperatures are holding perfectly. It has plenty of room in the bottom and in the top mounted freezer. We have had this unit about a month and so far we are very happy with it.

Great fridge for a small kitchen

We needed a fridge that would fit 30" wide or less, and this one works perfectly. Love the adjustability of the drawers, etc and the freezer space seems huge! Great quality, great look.
