Accucold by Summit Appliance offers MED series all-freezers with a stabilized temperature performance for use in medical, scientific, pharmaceutical, and laboratory institutions. The FS30L7MED is a compact 1.8 cu.ft. all-freezer that is ETL-S listed to NSF-7 commercial standards. The door includes a front lock and high temperature warning alarm that also displays the current and high/low temperatures. The interior includes removable wire shelves for optimum circulation and a one-piece interior liner to ensure easy cleanup. The dial thermostat is located inside the unit. This freezer is manual defrost and operates at an average temperature of -20 C. A hospital grade 'green dot' cord is included. With reliable construction and a convenient size, the FS30L7MED is the ideal freezer for storing select items in institutional facilities. NOTE: Accucold freezers are purpose-built to the support meeting the current CDC (Centers for Disease Control) guidelines for the storage of vaccines. At this time, Accucold refrigerators have not been evaluated to the new NSF 456 standard. As referenced in the current Vaccine Storage and Handling Toolkit, these units incorporate several key features for stable operation. For additional temperature assurance, the CDC recommends a calibrated digital data logger (DDL), which can be added with the factory-installed option DL2B or addition of the DL2BKit accessory.
